I find it hard to believe that no one thinks an escalator can be so large as to take one to the moon......
I tend to judge future technology trends on the functionality of current technology. Unless they have gotten the flipping escalator a my local Kmart fixed, I find the promise of an escalator to the moon quite frightening.
